Cobble Hill uses excellent quality inks and lacquers to make his puzzles. For the top layer of the puzzle they use a type of paper with a linen structure. This creates a pleasant and luxurious feeling during the puzzling. Furthermore, they use 100% recycled chipboard as the basis of the puzzle.

The puzzles have unique pieces because Cobble Hill makes use of unique punching knives that are made in-house.
